Anxiety & Stress
Stress and anxiety affects us all at one time or another but some people suffer more severely than others. When we experience unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviours, it can be hard to understand why this keeps happening to us.
Most of us are required at some time, to perform in some way in our personal or professional lives. That may mean giving a father-of-the-bride speech or a presentation at a company conference. Sometimes, we build up these occasions in our minds. As a therapist I have worked with everyone, from conservatoire concert pianists, to international DJs and stage actors in London’s West End, all with great success.
Recent research has revealed just how important sleep is in keeping us fit and healthy. We now know how important it is to get 7-8 hours sleep a night, which is not always easy in our modern lives.
Fears & Phobias
We are only born with two fears, the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. All other fears that we develop during our lives are what we have learnt. These and other phobias are usually rooted in childhood and hypnotherapy is a gentle and effective solution.
Children & Teenagers
Young people are under more stress than ever before. The way they interact with each other in this age of social media, means they may experience a wider range of emotional and psychological problems.
Addictions & Habits
I take a holistic approach to addictions and treat the person not the addiction. I believe the problem lies within the person, not the substance. I have worked with alcohol and cocaine habits as well as smoking nicotine and cannabis.
I offer a four week programme with follow-up support. By following my instructions carefully and reducing how much you eat, people typically lose about 5-8 pounds in the first week. Following that, weight loss is usually a steady and sustainable 1-2 pounds per week, providing you stick to the programme.
